Founded in the fall of 2008, the Spectrum Brass Quintet is dedicated to using great music as a foundation for unique collaborations. In its current concoction, the Spectrum Brass Quintet combines the power and grace of an elite brass quintet with the commanding presence of a concert pianist and the allure and sophistication of a soprano soloist. Adding the element of percussion to the mix, the Spectrum Brass Quintet creates a tremendous amount of unique color and emotional variety that promises to push the meaning of the 'chamber music' experience to its limits.
